How Long Does Vape Juice Last In A Bottle?

How long does vape juice last in a bottle?

The average life span of all e-liquids is two years; some can be shorter or longer depending on a few different elements.

You should expect your eliquid to last around two years from the date of manufacture if you have stored the juice correctly. Keeping the juice incorrectly can have a substantial impact on whether your e-liquid has the ability to last the expected lifespan.

You'll now find most e-liquids now come with a printed expiration date on the bottle; this is an excellent indication of where your juice is in the ageing process.

It is important not to let your juice be impacted by extreme heat, such as if it were left near a radiator or on a window sill. It is also vital that you're not leaving your juice anywhere. It will be subjected to direct sunlight.

Make sure always to seal your juice correctly and avoid opening it unless you plan to use it; this will avoid unnecessary oxygen exposure.

The ideal storage for your vape juices is to be left within a room temperature cupboard; this way, you can ensure it will not be effect by elements that can cause deterioration and a shorter lifespan.

What happens if you don't shake your vape juice?

Not shaking your vape juice can cause separation within the liquid, affecting the taste and quality.

You may have noticed people shaking their e-liquid bottles before filling up their vape and wondered why. There is a very good reason why this is a necessary action.

Vapes juices are made up of several ingredients such as vegetable glycerine, propylene glycol, flavouring and nicotine; these components all have different compounds which can affect what they do when left to sit. You may find that when left, the juice separates into layers and certain ingredients such as nicotine start to settle; this is entirely normal. Shaking your e-liquid will mix the elements together, ready to be used.

Another thing that may cause the separation of ingredients in your e-liquid is either becoming too hot or too cold. This can cause certain components to react to the temperature and settle. Bring your vape juice back to room temperature, and giving it a shake will resolve this issue.

If you find that after making sure your juice is room temperature and shaking it, it still isn't combining back together, this may mean the e-liquid is no longer ok to be used and has gone bad.

After an e-liquid has turned, it is no longer fit to be used. Ensuring you have correctly stored your vape juice is the best way to expand the product's life span. Keeping the liquid in the dark room temperature cupboard or drawer is the most recommended way, as it eliminates the chances of it being subject to direct sunlight or overheating. Ensure the juice lid is always correctly screwed on and left upright to avoid extra oxygen exposure or leaking.
