Are UK Vape Shops Open During COVID?
Published 6 April 2021, Updated 9 April 2024
In March 2020 the UK and most of Europe came to a halt. Shops and businesses were forced to close their doors for the foreseeable future. One of the industries that was heavily impacted was the vaping industry.
Now we are in April of 2021 and physical vape shops are still closed as vape shops are deemed non essential shops. However there is some light at the end of the tunnel.
Plans to Re-Open Physical Vape Shops
England
The UK Government has announced that no earlier than the 12 April 2021, non-essential shops will be allowed to open.
Scotland
The Scottish Government has announced that on the 5 April 2021 non-essential shops will be permitted to reopen.
What About Click & Collect?
Many vape shops have adapted to the current climate. Some brick and mortar stores have stayed open as ‘Click & Collect’ only whereby you were able to order by phone or online and collect from the doorstep of the store. However this changed late on in December 2020 where ‘Click & Collect’ services were stopped under Tier 4 restrictions.
Alternative Vape Shops that Remain Open
Other vape shops, such as our own IndeJuice Vape Store, have worked hard to ensure that customers are still able to get fast delivery for all their vape essentials by focusing on e-commerce and helping keep the nation away from cigarettes.
IndeJuice offers the largest collection of vape products in the world and free delivery vape juice.
Final Thoughts on COVID & Vape Shops
There is light at the end of the tunnel and by the end of June we may see all restrictions lifted, depending on Government data.
However online e-commerce services will be able to give you just as much information, making the process of purchasing vape juice and parts as easy as ever.
