Does The Aspire Flexus Q Leak?

The Aspire Flexus Q pod kit is a small, reliable device that is great for all levels of vapers. These 2ml pods occasionally leak from the pod and down the side of the pod after several hours of use and after multiple refills, but this is relatively normal for most pod mod vape devices and has simple fixes to avoid it.

The Aspire Flexus Q pod kit uses a 2ml reusable pod system that can be fitted with two different coils: 1 ohm and 0.6 ohms.

Using the correct e-liquids

When using the Aspire Flexus Q kit, a factor to consider is ensuring you use the correct e-liquids in your pod for the chosen coil.

If you are using the 1-ohm coil, you would want to make sure that you are not using vape juice that is both too thick or too thin. If the e-liquid is too thick, this can result in a burnt-out coil, which can then lead to leaking, and if you are using an e-liquid that is too thin, the coil may be oversaturated and can begin to leak, 50/50 PG/VG is recommended for a 1-ohm coil.

If you are using a 0.6-ohm coil, it is possible to use slightly thicker vape juices, such as 60/40 VG/PG, as this coil can be vaped at slightly higher power outputs. Using anything with a higher VG percentage than 60% could lead to the coil burning out, which could result in leaking. Same as the 1-ohm coil, if you use too thin juice, the coil may be oversaturated and leak slightly, so 50/50 VG/PG is also recommended for this coil. However, 60/40 VG/PG is also ideal.

How to fix the leaking?

Suppose your Aspire Flexus Q vape device has begun to leak. You should remove any excess e-liquid residue from the outside of the pod and at the top of the battery before connecting the pod again and vaping. If you have cleaned up a slight leak in your pod but notice that it continues to keep happening, this could be a sign that your coil has been burnt out and would need replacing; replacing the burnt-out coil should fix this ongoing leaking issue.

Damaged pods

It is also essential to look for cracks in the pod and potential rips or tears in the rubber bung if your pod leaks after cleaning and replacing the coil. If you do find that your pod or rubber bung is damaged, the pod will need replacing, unfortunately.
