What Coils Does the Aspire Flexus Q Use?

What Coils Does the Aspire Flexus Q Use?

the Flexus Q uses the Aspire flexus af coils and are available in 2 coil resistances; 1-ohm and 0.6-ohm resistances.

Reuseable pod system

Unlike a lot of other pod mod vape kits on the market today, the Aspire Flexus Q pod kit uses a reusable pod system that allows you to change and insert replacement coils (AF Coils) inside the pod when needed rather than replacing the whole pod. This hassle-free approach to a pod mod vaping kit is becoming increasingly popular due to the convenience of replacing just the coils.

Coil variants

There are currently two variants of coil resistances that can be inserted into the Flexus Q pod; 1 ohm and 0.6 ohms. These coils are made using mesh to produce great flavour and great clouds, but these coils do have noticeable differences when vaping, such as vapour production and the amount of flavour you will experience.

1 Ohm AF Mesh coil

The 1-ohm AF mesh coil for the Aspire Flexus Q kit is a coil more suited for vapers that prefer a tighter and more satisfying hit from their vaping device, as the 1-ohm mesh coil does not require as much power as the 0.6-ohm coil, you may also notice that your battery life will last slightly longer using this 1-ohm coil. If you prefer to use e-liquids containing a higher percentage of Vegetable Glycerin (VG) to Propylene Glycol (PG), such as 60/40 VG/PG, then this coil would not be ideal for these thicker e-liquids, but best suited more for 50/50 VG/PG e-liquids.

0.6 Ohm AF Mesh coil

The 0.6-ohm AF mesh coil for the Aspire Flexus Q kit is more suited for vapers who prefer a much smoother vaping experience and can create larger quantities of vapour production. The other plus side of using the 0.6-ohm coil is that you will experience a much more intense, clearer flavour from your e-liquid. This coil would not be ideal for anyone using high-nicotine e-liquids such as 12mg or 18mg as it may be too harsh for the user to vape comfortably.

Average price

The Aspire Flexus Q's 1-ohm and 0.6-ohm AF mesh coils are widely available and often come in single or multipacks of 5 coils. There should be no price difference between the different coil resistances, and the average price is between £2.50/£3.50 for a single coil and £9.99/£13.99 for a multipack of 5.
