In this article, we discuss which XROS 2 pods are best suited to use with Nic Salts.

Can You Use Nic Salts In XROS 2?

The XROS 2 vape kit is ideal for nicotine salt-based (Nic salt) e-liquids with a 50 VG/50 PG ratio. Nic salts will produce maximum flavour and give users a smooth throat hit at high nicotine concentrations.

Compatible E-Liquids

When using the Vaporesso XROS 2 pod mod device, it is essential to ensure that you are using the correct e-liquids for the correct Vaporesso XROS replacement pods. All available pods for the XROS 2 are compatible with most nic salts available on the market today. Still, it is essential to know that juice containing a higher percentage of vegetable glycerin (VG) or propylene glycol (PG) could potentially weaken the performance of the XROS 2 as the liquid could be too thick to vaporise or too thin and will flood the coil inside the pod.

0.6 and 0.7 Ohm

When using the 0.6 Ohm XROS pod, you will instantly notice that the inhale is very loose and airy; this is so that you can produce larger clouds of vapour and experience an intense burst of flavour from your vape juice when using it on high power. The 0.6ohm cartridge is best suited for high VG e-liquids such as freebase.

0.8 Ohm Pod

When using the 0.8 Ohm XROS pod, you will notice a much looser draw, smoother inhale, more significant cloud production and intense flavour. When using this pod, it is best to have your airflow open a decent amount to experience the best performance from this pod when using nic salts or freebase e liquids.

1 and 1.2ohm Ohm Pod

When using the 1 Ohm XROS pod in the XROS 2, you will notice that the inhale is much tighter than the 0.8 Ohm pod and will feel slightly more natural to the sensation of a traditional cigarette. These pods are great for nic salts and 50/50 e-liquids.

The Vaporesso XROS 2 can be used with other liquids, such as shortfill bottles that will contain a higher VG%, such as 70/30 VG/PG, but it is essential to remember to use the 0.6 Ohm, 0.7 Ohm or 0.8 Ohm pod for these. It is also possible to use freebase e-liquid with higher nicotine strengths; these are best suited for use with the 1 or 1.2 Ohm pod; otherwise, it will be too harsh to vape, which could result in coughing.
