Why Does My Disposable Vape Feel Clogged?

Why Does My Disposable Vape Feel Clogged?

Why Does My Disposable Vape Feel Clogged?

Three main factors contribute to clogged disposable vapes: Something is physically blocking the airflow, condensation, and chamber flooding.

If you struggle to inhale on your disposable vape, something is wrong. Your disposable vape is most likely clogged.

Something Physically Blocking The Air Flow.

This is possibly the most common reason why your disposable vape may feel clogged when trying to inhale on the device.

As disposable vapes are most stored in users' bags and pockets, there can be small amounts of residue such as pocket fluff, dust and even hair that can get blocked in the disposable devices' airway. This causes the reservoir to be blocked and makes it extremely hard to get a smooth, reliable inhale from the device itself.

The best way to resolve this issue is to use a piece of tissue or a cotton bud to remove any residue blocking the airflow.

Condensation Build Up.

Condensation build-up inside the vape's airway is another common cause of a clogged disposable vape.

Over time, this condensation can block the mouthpiece, preventing vapour from passing as you take a hit. You'll usually notice condensation build-up before it becomes too much of a problem. If you've ever felt tiny droplets of liquid hit your tongue as you take a hit, this is due to condensation build-up.

Save yourself the future hassle and take action to unclog your cart as soon as you notice liquid hitting your tongue when inhaling. The easiest and most reliable way of doing this is by using a piece of tissue or a cotton bud to remove the condensation build-up.

Chamber Flooding.

The third cause of a clogged disposable vape is chamber flooding. Chamber flooding occurs when vape carts sit around for a long time. Most e-liquids inside disposable vapes thicken at room temperature. Over time, the juice works its way to the bottom of the tank, oversaturates the wick, and drowns the coil. When this happens, the heating element (the coil) struggles to get up to temperature and vaporise the liquid effectively.

You'll notice this issue if your disposable vape isn't producing a thick enough vapour and isn't hitting correctly. You might also get a fowl burnt taste and burning smell when you take a hit. The best way to avoid this issue is to ensure that you are using your vape regularly, not leaving it sitting for a long period of time.

How Do You Get A Bubble Out Of A Disposable Vape?

Tap the device gently on a table to break the air bubbles. After giving the wicks a few seconds to get wet, you should regain the smooth hits.

When you are using a disposable vape, you may get weak hits if air bubbles form around the wick, which can cause the vape to not perform to its full potential. It is a straightforward problem to solve.

The aim is to break the air bubble, so a gentle bang should clear the problem.
