How Does Vaping Feel Like?
Vaping should feel like a warm little cloud has entered your mouth. Depending on what flavour of e-liquid and the nicotine strength you choose, this will dictate what you are tasting on your taste buds and the type of nicotine hit you receive.
After the warm sensation of cloud has entered your mouth and you begin to draw the vapour from your mouth to your lungs, it should feel familiar if you are a smoker. Like cigarette smoke, vapour moves through the throat and down the airways. Although this won't feel dissimilar to cigarette smoke if you are a smoker, you may find that it is smoother. Of course, this depends on the type of nicotine you are using and its concentration. Many former smokers initially report that vapour feels smoother on the throat than cigarette smoke.
If you have never vaped before, you will likely experience a coughing fit as your respiratory system rejects the vapour it is inhaling by harshly expelling it through coughing. At the IndeJuice ecig shop, we do not recommend vaping if you are not a smoker.
If you are a smoker, you will have the same effects you get from smoking. These include a sense of heightened alertness, whereas some vape users report a sense of relaxation. Nicotine causes dopamine (the feel-good chemical) to be released into your bloodstream. If you have consumed a higher dosage of nicotine than you are used to (e.g. 20mg), you may experience a nicotine rush, which has been reported as light-headedness or dizziness.
After you have taken the vapour into your lungs, people who have not experienced the effects of nicotine on the body report a nicotine buzz. This is your brain reacting to the stimulant.
The effects of nicotine on the body have long been studied and recorded. You may experience an increased heart rate, increased blood pressure, and constriction of blood vessels. Some people report dizziness or light-headedness when first consuming nicotine.
Scientists have established that nicotine causes serotonin to be released into the body and the feel-good sensation after consuming nicotine. These are thought to be a driving force in establishing a nicotine addiction. Some nicotine users report a loss of appetite after consuming nicotine. Research has shown that nicotine triggers a pathway in the human brain that suppresses the appetite.
Some new vapers report some adverse side effects when trying vaping for the first time. These side effects are headaches and hiccupping, however, this is not always the case for all new vapers nor is it an exhaustive list of potential side effects.
Vaping e-cigarettes are a much less harmful alternative to smoking conventional cigarettes and are a great alternative to help you quit smoking. Different e-liquids will give you a slightly different feeling and the nicotine strength you decide to vape.
