What Does 75 VG Mean On Vape Liquid?

What Does 75 VG Mean On Vape Liquid?

VG, which stands for Vegetable Glycerin, is the main base ingredient used to make up e-liquids. 75 VG means that your bottle of e-juice contains a mixture ratio of 75% VG and the rest is 25% Propylene Glycol (PG), including nicotine and flavourings.
Is 70/30 PG VG Good?
Yes, but this depends on what the user looks for from an e-liquid and which device is being used. If the user intends on being able to experience the throat hit from the nicotine that is found in regular tobacco cigarettes without creating a high volume of cloud production, then 70/30 PG VG would be ideal as this will not produce as huge of a cloud and will replicate the smoking sensation of a regular cigarette the closest.
What's The Difference Between 50/50 And 70/30 Vape Juice?
The main difference between 50/50 and 70/30 vape juice is that 50/50 liquids will have a ratio of 50% Vegetable Glycerin (VG) and 50% Propylene Glycol (PG) while 70/30 will have 70% VG and 30% PG, meaning that those juices contain a higher VG percentage have a much higher viscosity in comparison to higher PG ratios.
What's The Difference Between 50/50 And 80/20 Vape Juice?
The main difference between 50/50 and 80/20 vape juice is the percentage of Vegetable Glycerin (VG), and Propylene Glycol (PG) in the e-liquid 50/50 containing 50% VG and 50% PG, while 80/20 will have 80% VG and 20% PG. Most commonly, 50/50 e-liquids will be found in several different nicotine strengths ranging from 0mg to 20mg, as 80/20 e-liquids will not contain these higher nicotine strengths and will only range up to 6mg on average. Still, these 80/20 juices will provide a much thicker cloud and can potentially make your coils last that little bit longer.
What's The Difference Between 70/30 And 80/20 Vape Juice?
There is no massive difference between 70/30 and 80/20 vape juice other than that 80/20 will contain 10% more Vegetable Glycerin (VG) and 10% less Propylene Glycol (PG) than 70/30 vape juice.

Most commonly, you will see eliquid bottles labelled as 75/25 VG/PG or 50/50 VG/PG, for example, and this tells you what the ratio of both VG and PG are in the e-liquid, which is essential to know when choosing which e-liquids can be used in a users device as some devices require a higher VG ratio and some require a higher PG ratio.

You must use the correct type of device when using a juice containing a 70/30 PG VG ratio. Suppose you are using a very powerful device that will heat a coil to very high temperatures, like mod-style vapes, for example. In that case, this will end up with the juice being vaporised at temperatures too high, which can potentially lead to leakages and the risk of some liquid residue being inhaled or swallowed, so it is recommended that you use a lower wattage device when using juices containing a higher PG ratio.

Most commonly, 50/50 VG PG liquids will be used in smaller, lower wattage devices and pod devices as they do not require the high wattages and temperatures needed to vaporise higher VG liquids like 70/30 VG PG; for example, these 70/30 e-liquids are generally used in the bigger mod-style devices that let you control the amount of wattage is being delivered into the coil that vaporises the juice.

Another main difference between 50/50 and 80/20 vape juice is that any vape juice containing a higher VG ratio will produce a much thicker and more dense cloud, as 50/50 will only produce an amount of vapour that is similar to a regular cigarette. The 50/50 juice will have a stronger throat hit as it contains more PG, and 80/20 will provide a much smoother throat hit, similar to shisha, as it contains a higher percentage of VG.

Although the difference between 70/30 and 80/20 is not massively obvious, the juice that contains 80/20 will be able to produce a very slightly thicker cloud production than 70/30 juice as it contains more VG and will make the viscosity of the vape juice that little bit thicker. This will also provide a slightly smoother throat hit when inhaling the vapour.
