What Pod Is Best For Nord 4?
The SMOK Nord 4 does not come with Nord pods and Nord coils like the previous Nord devices. The Nord 4 now comes with The Nord 4 SMOK RPM pod and the Nord 4 SMOK RPM2 pod.
The SMOK Nord 4 currently has two different pods to choose from; The RPM pod and the RPM2 pod are compatible with different coils that allow the user to experience a slightly different vape.
Nord 4 RPM Pod/Coil
The SMOK Nord 4 works excellently using the 2ml RPM pod and RPM coil. The RPM coils that are currently available for this pod are the 0.8-ohm coil, SC 1-ohm coil, Quartz 1.2-ohm coil, Triple 0.6 ohm coil, Mesh 0.4 ohm coil and MTL Mesh 0.3 ohm coil, and each one of these coils will result in different vaping experiences for both DTL and MTL vaping.
RPM 2 Pod/Coil
When using the Nord 4 with the SMOK RPM 2 pod and RPM 2 coil, you will experience great flavour and vapour production. The SMOK RPM2 coils are available in resistances of 0.16 ohm, 0.6 ohm, 0.25 ohm, and 0.23 ohm to allow the user to experience different vaping styles with each coil.
Why Does Nord 4 Have Two Pods?
The SMOK Nord 4 comes with two different pods that fit two different coils inside; one pod takes the original SMOK RPM coils, and the other takes the updated SMOK RPPM2 coils to result in different vaping styles.
The SMOK Nord 4 has two different pods, making it a suitable vaping device for almost everyone. Using the different pods with the variety of available coils will help you achieve the style of vaping you desire, whether MTL, DTL or RDTL.
How Often Should You Replace Nord 4 Pods?
On average, the pods for the SMOK Nord 4 will last between 3-5 days of usage for people that vape heavily and then between 1-2 weeks for people that vape casually, but how often you vape and which e-liquids you are vaping can affect these average times.
Changing the pod in your SMOK Nord 4 after reasonable use and when you have eventually burnt out the coil inside is recommended. When the coil burns out and needs replacing, it can sometimes leave an unpleasant burnt taste in the pod, and if you experience this after replacing the coil and e-liquid, it would need to be replaced.
Another factor to consider when knowing when your pod needs replacing is leaking or damaged pods. If you notice that your pod is leaking uncontrollably, you should check the pod for any damage, such as cracks or splits, as this will make you waste juice and could also potentially damage the device if the juice has leaked through. If you notice your pod is damaged in any way, this will need replacing instantly.
