Why Do Disposable Vapes Make Me Dizzy?

Why Do Disposable Vapes Make Me Dizzy?

Why Do Disposable Vapes Make Me Dizzy?

A rush of nicotine can cause dizziness in disposable vapes. This is common in first-time vapers who vape too much nicotine at high strength.

You may feel dizzy after vaping products made by the best disposable vape brands; There could be a few reasons behind this: taking too much nicotine or vaping too much in one sitting. There's no reason to be concerned as it is not an uncommon issue, especially for users who recently quit smoking cigarettes.

If you're transitioning from smoking, you are most likely vaping 20mg nicotine-strength disposables. Chain vaping and consistently vaping may cause dizziness or a 'head rush'.

Nicotine is a stimulant; when you vape a disposable, nicotine rushes into your body and impacts the nervous system, resulting in dizziness or a lightheaded feeling. Disposable vapes use nicotine salt e-liquids. Nicotine from this e-liquid enters the bloodstream much quicker than other forms; therefore, you may feel dizzy from time to time.

Generally, long-term vapers become accustomed to the nicotine strength; however, if you're concerned, either reduce the amount you vape in one sitting or reduce the nicotine strength.

Be mindful of how hard you pull on your disposable vape. Disposables are designed to mimic smoking cigarettes to help you quit smoking. Taking deep pulls allows more nicotine to enter the body.

Most disposable vapes only come in two nicotine strengths; 10mg and 20mg. If you are still feeling dizzy or lightheaded when you vape, we recommend switching to either a low wattage device or a box mod in which you can vape lower nicotine strengths such as 1.5mg, 3mg, 6mg, 12mg and 18mg.

If you use a high wattage device and are experiencing dizziness and a lightheaded feeling after each pull, reduce your pull time and maybe think about lowering your temperature and wattage settings. The higher the output settings, the more nicotine you will take in.

Why Do Disposable Vapes Make Me Feel Sick?

If you're feeling nauseous or sick after vaping a disposable vape, this could result from too much nicotine.

Vaping too much in one sitting or a high nicotine strength can leave you feeling sick or nauseous. Disposable vapes use nicotine salts as their e-liquid. Nicotine salts enter the bloodstream quicker than other nicotine alternatives, and the nicotine impacts the nervous system straight away.

We recommend reducing the amount you vape in one sitting or reducing the nicotine strength to 10mg. If you're still feeling sick or nauseous after vaping, it may be worth trying a different disposable from another brand and consulting your registered physician.

Most disposable vapes contain a VG/PG ratio of 50/50. There is evidence that vapers are sensitive to PG (Propylene Glycol). If problems persist, we recommend changing to a low wattage pod system where you can control the e-liquid you vape and opt for a higher VG and lower PG concentration. Pod systems give you more control of what you're vaping, and there's a greater range of nicotine strengths and e-liquids.
