Is Drag Nano 2 Waterproof?
The Voopoo Drag Nano 2 pod kit has many useful protection features, such as multi-layer leakage protection, but unfortunately, waterproof protection is not one of these features.
Protection Features
The Drag Nano 2 by Voopoo is a reliable and robust kit with many useful protection features that will allow the user to experience the best performance possible from this vaping device.
Overtime protection - This safety feature will stop your pod from vaporizing any liquid after vaping it for a significant amount of time (8 seconds) in one inhale which will help you to avoid burning your coils out too quickly.
Low battery protection - This low battery protection feature will warn you when your vaping device no longer holds enough battery life to be vaped. The device will flash multiple times from the LED lights and will not produce any vapour. This is an indication that your vape needs charging.
Over-temperature protection - Over-temperature protection will not let your Voopoo Drag Nano 2 get too hot. If your device exceeds the temperature limit, the device will not be able to be fired, and this will also help in trying to make your coils last a little longer.
Overcharge protection - This feature will help keep your battery in excellent condition. When charging your Drag Nano 2, the overcharge protection feature will stop the battery from charging as soon as it has hit full capacity.
Does Drag Nano 2 leak?
When using the Voopoo Drag Nano 2, you may notice a small amount of leaking around the pod, and this can be due to either the pod itself being burnt or damaged, the rubber bung that covers the fill port not appropriately inserted, or the liquid used in the Drag Nano 2 is too thin.
Burnt Out/Damaged Pod
If you notice some slight leaking when using the Voopoo Drag Nano 2, it is recommended that you make sure that the current pod you are using has not burnt out or been damaged. When a pod has burnt out, the coil inside the pod will then struggle to stay saturated in e-liquid and can potentially begin to leak out of the bottom of the pod. It is also recommended that you check the pod for any cracks or holes, as this would be why you are experiencing leakages. If your pod is damaged, this will need to be disposed of and replaced with a fresh one.
Rubber Bung
If the Drag Nano 2 has some slight leaking, but the pod itself is not burnt out or damaged, it is worth checking that the rubber bung that covers the filling port has been inserted properly; if not, then it is possible for the vape juice to leak out of the filling port.
E-Liquids
When using the Drag Nano 2, you must use the correct e-liquid for this device. The Drag nano 2 is best suited to use 50 VG/50 PG e-liquids. If you are using vape juice that has a high PG, the juice could be too thin to soak into the coil and can begin leaking.
