Which Is Better Drag S or Drag X?

Which Is Better Drag S Or Drag X?

Their size differentiates Drag S and X. The two devices are made with differing personalities, vape styles, and e-liquid capacity in mind. The two devices look relatively similar, and the only difference would be that the Drag X looks slightly longer if you were to nitpick. The removable battery in the Drag X accounts for most of this difference.

The Voopoo Drag X and Drag S are examples of fantastic design in their own right. However, the Drag X wins out the ingenuity department with its seamless, fuss-free removable 18650 battery. The 18650 battery, in our experience, has always been reliable and easy to remove, which is due to the ample space made in the device casing to facilitate this functionality. The Voopoo Drag S has an internal battery only.

If you have a bunch of 18650 batteries, or you’re the kind of person who always carries a spare of everything around, then the Drag X is the better device for you. If you’re looking to buy the Drag X, you should purchase additional batteries anyway and a carrying case or a charging case to go along with it so that you won’t have any downtime on your vape. Imagine not having to go through that awkward conversation at a new place with someone you barely know for a power plug to charge your vape.

The Drag X and Drag S both come with a 0.3-ohm coil and VooPoo’s extensive range of PnP coils, their speciality “Push-n-pull” coil system, means both devices work with a variety of VooPoo’s range of heating coils. This means both the Drag X and the Drag S are compatible with MTL or DTL vaping styles and liquids. There is one difference, however. The Drag X has an exclusive 0.15ohm mesh coil between 60 and 80 Watts. With the airflow wide open and a larger battery with higher wattage output than the rest of the VooPoo lineup, the Drag X hits the spot for a real sub-ohm experience.

If you carry a portable charger or drive everywhere, both Drag S and Drag X will be very easily chargeable. The Drag X is a better option if you’re more likely to spend a long time hiking or being somewhere outdoors without access to power for its ease of changing batteries.

The Drag X and the Drag S also differ in how they fire. The Drag S can fire through inhalation and the manual fire button, which may be suitable for those switching from smoking, who are still currently smoking, or those who used vapes without a fire button. The Drag X uses a more traditional design philosophy to the manual fire.

So, to round it up, these two devices have way more in common than different. If you were to choose and don’t mind paying the extra cost for the kit and the accessories, the Drag X is the ultimate portable sub-ohm kit. If you’re mostly sitting at your desk and working like most of us these days, save money for e-liquids by opting for the Drag S instead.
