How Many Nord 4 Coils Are There?

Currently, nine different coil resistances can be inserted into either the RPM pod or RPM2 pod that is compatible with the SMOK Nord 4 vaping kit.

When designing the Nord 4, it seems like SMOK tried their best to make this a device suitable for all different experience levels of vapers. With the choice of 9 different coils, there will be a Smok Nord 4 coil best suited for all different vaping styles, from DTL vaping to MTL vaping.

RPM Coils

• Mesh 0.4 Ohm RPM coil.

• Triple 0.6 Ohm RPM coil.

• Quartz 1.2 Ohm RPM coil.

• SC 1.0 Ohm RPM coil.

• MTL Mesh 0.3 Ohm RPM coil.

• DC 0.8 Ohm RPM coil.

RPM2 Coils

• Mesh 0.16 Ohm RPM2 coil.

• DC 0.6 Ohm RPM2 coil.

• DC 0.25 Ohm RPM2 coil.

Each one of these compatible coils for the SMOK Nord 4 will result in slightly different vaping experiences to suit all.

MTL

If you prefer a more natural feeling vape that almost replicates the sensation of a traditional cigarette, the Quartz 1.2 Ohm RPM coil, SC 1.0 Ohm RPM coil, MTL Mesh 0.3 Ohm RPM coil and Triple 0.6 Ohm RPM coil would be ideal for achieving this as they provide a tighter inhale and harsher throat hit on the throat when vaping. 

DTL

If you prefer to experience a much more intense level of flavour from your e-liquid and prefer to create a large production of cloud vapour, then the Mesh 0.4 Ohm RPM coil, DC 0.8 Ohm RPM coil, Mesh 0.16 Ohm RPM2 coil, DC 0.6 Ohm RPM2 coil and the DC 0.25 Ohm RPM2 coil will be the ideal coil for you.

What coil should I use for Smok Nord 4?

The answer to this depends on which compatible pod you have chosen to attach to the Nord 4 device. If you are using the Nord RPM pod, then the SMOK RPM coil range will be what you need, and if you are using the Nord RPM2 pod, the SMOK RPM2 coils will be what you need.

The SMOK Nord 4 pod vape currently offers two replacement pod options to fit onto the device. Both pods take different coils inside them to result in different vaping experiences.

RPM Pod

The SMOK RPM pod that comes with the device is compatible with the entire SMOK RPM coil range, and these coils are available in numerous Ohm resistances to suit all vaping styles.
