How Do I Recharge My Disposable Vape?

Disposable vape devices come prefilled and precharged Once the device has run out of either liquid or battery, you will not be able to recharge or refill the device.

Most disposable vape brands do not offer the option of recharging, and once the battery is dead, you will not be able to use the device even if there is an amount of e-liquid left.

There have been several disposable vape devices with some brands released that do have the option to recharge.

  • YOLO Bar rechargeable disposable vape offers around 575 puffs in 8 flavours.
  • The lost mary rechargeable disposable vape by Elf Bar offers around 3500 puffs and ranges in 10 flavours. This vape does not comply with the UK's vaping regulations and should not be available to purchase.
  • The UWELL GABRIEL 1201 rechargeable disposable vape device produces around 6000 puffs and ranges in over 20 flavours. Again due to the TPD regulations, the UWELL GABRIEL 1201 is not legal in the UK and, if purchased, should be conceded a counterfit product.

Can You Recharge A Disposable Vape?

No, disposable devices are precharged and must be disposed of after the battery runs out.

Disposable vapes are created to be used once; your device will come prefilled and precharged and must be disposed of once either one has run out. You cannot recharge or refill most disposable vapes unless the manufacturers intended.

It would be best if you did not attempt to open a disposable vape and try to refill or recharge; this is a safety risk and not recommended. Once your device is empty, you will need to throw out the device and purchase a new one if needed.

Some brands are now available with USB ports to charge your disposable device once it has died. Brands include Elf Bar, YOLO Bar and Uwell, to name a few.

It is important to remember that not all disposable vapes with the USB port on offer comply with the UK's vaping and tobacco products regulations. If you are able to purchase any vaping product that is not compliant with the rules, you are at risk of owning a counterfit product.

The best way to avoid counterfit and illegal products is by purchasing from a reputable brand. Several brands producing disposable vapes also have an authenticity sticker or code allowing you to check your device's legitimacy online.
